Lucky Strikes Gold, “Lucky”
“Lucky” was a 28 year old registered American Quarter Horse with an impressive cutting and reining pedigree and quite the precocious goofball attitude!
Lucky was 15.2 hands high and excelled as a quite competitive jousting horse who also showed his nimbleness and tenacity in the melee and Skill at Arms. Lucky put up with a lot from Steve over the years but taught him many valuable lessons. They both learned and grew together since 2002 until Lucky’s death in the summer of 2021.
When Lucky wasn’t jousting, he tried his best at Dressage and Eventing but especially enjoyed Foxhunting and in 2018 he was featured in the American Quarter Horse Magazine detailing our journey through competitive jousting. He is very greatly missed.
